Overview

At Dogwood Blossom Stationery, I assisted in designing bespoke invitation suites and day-of paper goods for weddings and special events. The couple wanted to highlight their love of New Orleans throughout the suite which featured custom artwork that nodded to NOLA's unique charm and icons. 

Process

The hero of this suite was their custom hand illustrated crest, which combined the couple's initials in the center, surrounded by meaningful city-inspired details. Fleur-de-lis and wrought iron motifs echoed the venue's iconic fencing, while accents of Spanish moss and ornate beading added a touch of Southern elegance. Oak leaves on the right and orchids on the left of the frame romantically blended regional flora with the bride's favorite flower.

At DBS Studios, I assisted with the production of the invitation suite, day-of goods, and on-site assembly and strike, giving me insight on the full lifecycle of a design project.
