Roam & Return began as an Instagram brief as a challenge to design and build an identity for an outdoor gear and apparel brand geared towards sustainability, targeted to outdoor enthusiasts, park visitors, and environmental advocates.
Process
My take on the concept brand was to combine modern utility with a scrapbook-inspired aesthetic as a nod to documenting adventures and collecting keepsakes along the way. This also followed the brand's eco-conscious ethos, collecting memories and leaving behind nothing but footprints. While the branding is rooted in textural keepsakes and hand-drawn details to evoke a sense of nostalgia, its modern and clean logo grounds the branding in modern simplicity.
