Custom full-wrap dance floor designed for a Western/Cowboy themed birthday party.

Process

The concept for this project centered around a cluttered saloon floor, more specifically the border, which invited guests to figuratively (and visually) "hop over" the mess to join the fun. While I had creative freedom for most of the elements, the customer specifically asked to have the floor "branded" (in this case literally!) with the words "Shut up n' dance" and to include coils of barbed wire to emphasize the leap over the border. The arrangement of the items was tricky, as the items strewn about needed to have a balance of clutter without looking carelessly thrown in.
