Overview

This customer requested to see a few design options for a value-adding upgrade to their 4.5" potted mint program built around the theme "Mojito in Training." As a fun summer exclusive, their objective was to enhance the overall retail appeal of their product while maintaining low production costs.

Process

To keep in line with their budget, we agreed on producing wraparound covers with matching decorative plant stakes to upgrade their standard plastic grower pot. This customer often enhances their products by including an added element of immersion (e.g. essential oil DIY kits, mini Christmas tree lighting kits), and with the Mojito in Training theme, they asked to include a simple mojito recipe as well as standard care instructions for the plant itself. Despite the mojito theming, I wanted to avoid confusion from the customer standpoint and included lime elements sparingly to emphasize the mint plant.
